The petitioner is an accused in S.C.No.50 of 2019 pending on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Cuddalore District, Cuddalore on the file of the respondent police seeks bail Sessions Court for Trial of Bomb Blast cases at Coimbatore, seeks bail. Originally, Crime No.77 of 2018 had been registered under Sections 294(b), 324,326,307 and 302 of IPC.

2. It is stated that NBW has been issued against the petitioner on 08.04.2019 and the petitioner had been secured on 21.10.2023.

3. The facts of the case is that there was land dispute between the petitioner's family and the defacto complainant's family. On a perusal of records it is seen that the petitioner was absconding from the judicial process for 4.5 years.

4. In view of the fact that the petitioner was absconding for 4.5 years, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed. 18.04.2024 smn 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
