Though the petitioner/husband has challenged the award of interim maintenance, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that the balance arrears payable as on date shall be settled within a period of three months from today.

Recording the fair submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to clear the entire arrears of maintenance in three equal monthly installments, commencing from first installment being 08.09.2025. The amounts shall be paid by way of Demand Drafts in favour of the respondent. Considering the OP is pending from the year 2021, the learned 6th Additional Family Judge, Chennai is directed to expedite hearing in the main OP to dispose of the same within a period of six(6) months along with all Interlocutory Applications, pending if any. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
