ORDER

Heard Mr.S.Mani, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents and with the consent of parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 2.The husband of the petitioner was working as Forest Guard. He died in harness, on 13.12.2009. The petitioner made an application on 30.03.2010 to the second respondent, seeking appointment on compassionate ground. Since no order has been passed so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. 3.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment, referred to above, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

receipt of a copy of this order.
