At the time of admission, by order dated 17.09.2020, the parties were directed to maintain status quo as on 17.09.2020. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that such order of status quo may be extended until the Arbitral Tribunal enters upon reference. If either party requires interim protection, he submits that the parties concerned may seek orders under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. 2.In view of such submission, the order of status quo granted on 17.09.2020 is extended until the Arbitral Tribunal enters upon reference. Thereafter, it shall be open to the parties herein to seek interim protection, if necessary, by filing an application under Section 17 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. O.A.No.411 of 2020 is disposed of on these terms without any order as to costs.
