Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Writ of mandamus seeking a directions to the 4th respondent to give effect to order passed by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka. 15257/ 2020/Kalaal-2 dated 30.09.2020 by opening the liquor shop No. 3999 at S.No. 206 Thoorampatti Village, Mulanaur Dharapuram Circle, Thiruppur District subject to the restrictions imposed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

ORDER

This writ petition is for a mandamus seeking a direction to the District Manager, Tamil Nadu Ware House Corporation, Tiruppur to give effect to order passed by the District Collector, Tiruppur dated 30.09.2020 and open liquor shop https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

bearing no.3999 at Survey No. 206, Thoorampatti Village, Mulanaur, Dharapuram Circle, Thiruppur District (shop in question).

2. Today Mr.Satish Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the TASMAC would confirm, vide a letter bearing No.Na.Ka.No.166/2021/A dated 14.07.2021, that the shop in question is to be opened on the 26th of July 2021. The letter is placed on file.

3. With the issuance of letter dated 14.07.2021, the mandamus sought for stands achieved and recording the aforesaid, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
