The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.02.2024 to cancel the sale deed registered as Doc.No.1175/2008 and 1117/2023 registered at SRO, Vettavalam, Tiruvannamalai District, on the ground of fraud.

2. In view of the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court in M.Kathirvel Vs The Inspector General of Registration in W.P.Nos.10291 of 2022 and batch, striking down Section 77 (A) of the Registration Act, there is no enabling provision empowering the respondents 1 & 2 to cancel the sale deed on the ground of fraud. Therefore, the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
