2. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepts notice for the respondent and submits that no other separate appeal has been preferred by the appellant before us.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the matter, we accept the reason for delay i.e., that the petitioner could not provide papers to the counsel in time as they were with his relatives.
