ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to measure the petitioner's land viz., Survey No.468/1A1, New Subdivision Survey Nos.10/1, 10/2, 11/1 to an extent of 241 square metres of vacant house plot Thiruvallur by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2024 within a time stipulated by this court.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by way of Transfer deed dated 06.06.2014 bearing Document No.6572 of 2014 and from that date, she is in complete possession of the said land. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the third respondent, who is the retired Special Assistant Inspector of Police claims ownership of a portion of 14 feet of her land despite having no relation to them. Hence, the petitioner has paid Rs.800/- via E-challan for measuring the land on 22.06.2022 and has given a representation dated 21.02.2024 to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the said property. However, the same has not been considered by the second 2/4

respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 26.04.2024 gsa Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No : Yes/No To,
