Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the petitioner's family pension and Provident Fund, service benefits and monetary benefits of the petitioner's husband to the petitioner by considering her representation dated 03.03.2025 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to examine the representation dated 03.03.2025 and to pass orders.

2.The petitioner stated that her husband, Chinnaiyan was appointed as Village Assistant at Palamaruthur Village in the year 1986. He had been missing on and from 30.04.2006. The petitioner had been left behind with her son and two daughters. A complaint had been lodged before the jurisdictional police. The petitioner had also filed O.S.No.133 of 2018 before the District Munsif, Chengam, seeking a declaration that her husband to be declared as having attained civil death. It had been stated that the suit was decreed on 17.10.2023. The petitioner had thereafter given the representation seeking family pension.

3.A direction is given to the respondents to examine the representation given by the petitioner and examine the documents filed along with the same and take an appropriate decision within a period of four

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
