Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to award Selection Grade and Special Grade in the cadre of Head Master of Elementary School and confer all the consequential benefits to the petitioners by implementing the order passed by the 1st respondent in G.O.Ms.No.69, School Education (M1) Department, dated 18.04.2013 by considering the petitioners' representation dated 31.01.2022. 2. The petitioners are retired school teachers. They have given a representation for conferment of Selection Grade and Special Grade.

3. The first respondent is directed to pass orders on the petitioners' representation on merits and in accordance with law. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or the other. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
