This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Sessions Judge, Magalir Needhi Mandram, Coimbatore, to complete the trial in S.C.No.225 of 2014 as early as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The petitioners are facing trial in S.C. No.225 of 2014 before the Mahila Court, Coimbatore for the offences under Section 498(A) and 306 I.P.C., In the final report, the Police have cited 24 witnesses, of which except PW1, PW2 and Investigating Officer, other witnesses were examined and they were also cross-examined by the accused.

4. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the case is being adjourned repeatedly for examination of PW1 and PW2, who are not coming forward to give evidence, as they are expecting some compensation from the accused. It is also represented that, the witness warrant is pending against PW1 and PW2.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to execute the witness warrant and produce PW1 and PW2 before the Trial Court for their examination and the learned Trial Judge is directed to ensure that PW1 and PW2 are examined within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
