O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for transfer of investigation in Crime No.90 of 2024 from the file of the respondent to any other independent investigating agency.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the accused are advocates and they have influence of the respondent. Therefore, the respondent kept the FIR in cold storage without completing investigation.
3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that after registration of FIR, the investigation is on progress in Crime No.90 of 2025, at this stage, if the investigation is transfer from the file of the file of the respondent to any other investigating agency, it will affect entire investigation already done by the respondent.
4. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to transfer the investigation from the file of the respondent in Crime No.90 of 2024. However, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy this order.
5. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore is directed to monitor the investigation done by the respondent.
6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
