O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, a retired teacher, seeks to file the present Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the first respondent to allot four percent of seats as per G.O. Ms.No. 290 dated 21.08.2007 issued by the Higher Education Department to the students, who are completing the plus two syllabus under the vocational stream, for Engineering admission in Anna University at Guindy Campus from the forthcoming Academic Year 2010-2011. 2.No counter-affidavit has been filed by the first respondent and the stand of the 5th respondent is that the issue of admissions stands delegated to the first respondent.

3.We, thus, direct the first respondent to look into the averments made in the petition in the form of representation and pass a speaking order, within one month of receipt of this order, after notice to all concerned.
