Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner from consolidated pay scale to Time Scale Pay taking consideration into G.O.Ms.No.151/2008 Social Welfare Department, dated 16.10.2008.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner the learned Additional Government Pleader on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.
2. The petitioner is presently working as Pump Operator in Maannampadhi Village. He is now paid wages on consolidated pay basis. The petitioner submitted a representation to the fifth respondent to pay him time scale of pay in the light of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.151 Social Welfare Department, dated 16.10.2008. Since the said representation was not taken up for consideration, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The petitioner has not produced the copy of the representation stated to have been given by him to the 5th respondent.
4. The petitioner is given liberty to submit a comprehensive representation to the fifth respondent. In case, any such representation is given, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the fifth respondent on merits and as per law taking into account the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.151 Social Welfare Department, dated 16.10.2008. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of representation.
5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
