Mr.D.Veerasekaran, Standing Counsel for TNHB C O M M O N O R D E R The present Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to consider and pass orders on the petitioners' letter/representation dated 22.09.2025 read with the letter sent by the respondent vide Lr. No.A.N.D.II9/ 1070/ 2017 dated 01.09.2025 within the reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.D.Veerasekaran, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioners were allotted with house sites under the self-FinanceGummidipoondi Scheme as permanent allotment by the respondents vide letter dated 25.06.1993 upon payment of initial deposit of Rs.1482/-. Though the petitioners had paid the entire amount as prescribed by the respondents, the sale

deeds have not been executed in their favour. In the meanwhile, the 2nd respondent issued a letter dated 01.09.2025 calling upon the petitioners to submit all the relevant documents pertaining to the allotted property. Pursuant thereto, though the petitioners had submitted all the requisite documents, the sale deeds have not been executed in favour of the petitioners, and therefore, in this regard, the petitioners submitted the representations dated 22.09.2025. Since, the said representations have not been considered so far, the petitioners have come up with the present Writ Petition.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 22.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

6. In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petitions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 22.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and any other interested parties.

7. This Writ Petitions stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
