Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2020 and thereby direct the respondents to measure the property in Survey No.253, Narasingapuram Village Madura, Walaja Taluk, Ranipet District totally an extent of 0.7.50 Ares, by erecting milestones and change the manual patta No.93 into computer patta in petitioner's name.

ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy , learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and on consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final hearing.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.06.2020 and to conduct a survey in the subject property and to fix the boundary stones and issue computer patta in the name of the petitioner.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the property was originally owned by his father and subsequently the petitioner became the owner of the property. According to the petitioner already a manual patta was granted in his favour in the year 2004. The petitioner made an application on 06.02.2020 to the respondents along with the payment challan requesting for conducting a survey and to fix the boundaries and also issue computer patta in the name of the petitioner. According to the petitioner, his application was not considered till date in spite of repeated representations made thereafter and therefore left with no other alternative, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4. Heard Mr.D.Sundarapandiyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner on 06.02.2020 and the representation made on 13.06.2020 and act upon the same, strictly in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with a copy of the application dated 06.02.2020 and the copy of the representation dated 13.06.2020 and all other relevant documents along with a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition is disposed of with above directions. No costs.
