ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for forbearing the respondents from preventing the petitioner in carrying out his occupation as Street Vendor on the pavement in front of the property bearing old Door No.33, New No.60, Kasturi Ranga Road, Alwarpet, Chennai - 600 086, till the disposal of the statutory appeal of the petitioner dated 14.07.2020.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the appellate authority is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 14.07.2020 and after giving opportunity of hearing to both sides, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if

not already disposed of.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
