ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner alleges illegal construction by the second respondent in S.No.228/3A 4B, Mecheri Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District and pleads for action by respondent No.1 in terms https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920. On the other hand, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that there is no construction on the public land.

2. In view aforesaid, it is directed that the first respondent will carry out an inspection of the site to verify the allegation and the counter allegation and in case any unauthorised construction is found, take action in accordance with law, after notice to all concerned. The inspection be carried out within fifteen days of the receipt of the copy of this order, and if some action is required, the same be completed within two months thereafter.
