O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent-police not to harass the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint dated 08.12.2015 given by the wife of the petitioner viz., Sobiya, the respondent-police is frequently calling the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and harassing him. Hence the petitioner has come forward with the present Criminal Original Petition.

3.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the complaint given by the wife of the petitioner is pending with the respondent-police, he was called for enquiry and the respondent-police is not harassing the petitioner. Further, he submitted that the respondent-police has no intention to harass the petitioner. Only in order to avoid the enquiry, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:- (i)The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the enquiry.

(ii)The respondent is directed to conduct the enquiry in accordance with law, without harassing the petitioner. 5.The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
