(The case has been heard through video conference) A joint memo of compromise dated 01.10.2021, has been filed today. The said joint memo of compromise has been singed by the claimant and the second respondent insurance company as well as their respective counsels. In terms of the compromise, the second respondent agreed to pay Rs.9,00,000/- to the appellant/claimant towards full and final settlement over and above the award amount. This appeal is disposed of in terms of the joint memo of compromise. This joint memo of compromise shall form part of this judgment. sum of Rs.9,00,000/- within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment to the credit of M.C.O.P.No.3024 of 2015 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Sub Court No.1, Salem. On such deposit of the said amount of Rs.9,00,000, the appellant/claimant is permitted to withdraw the said amount by filing necessary application before the Tribunal.
