O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner and to conduct a survey and measure the land and fix the boundaries.

2.The case of the petitioner is that his father was the owner of the subject property and after his demise, the petitioner became the absolute owner of the property. The further case of the petitioner is that joint patta was also issued in favour of the petitioner and the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the subject property. The petitioner found that the computerised patta was issued in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

favour of the 3rd respondent and by mistake, the property belonging to the petitioner was also added in the computerised patta.

3.The petitioner, therefore, made a representation to the 1st and 2nd respondents to measure the property and fix the boundaries. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4.Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the application filed by the petitioner has been taken on file by the 1st respondent and an enquiry has been fixed on 10.09.2020 at 03.00 p.m. The learned counsel submitted that the petitioner and the 3rd respondent are also called for the enquiry. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 1st respondent has acted upon the representation made by the petitioner and has also called the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to conduct the enquiry after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the 3rd respondent and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
