Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus after calling for the records pertaining to impugned order in R.C.No.1089/SL3/2017 passed by the 1st respondent, dated 16.03.2017, quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to grant permission for the petitioner promotion to the post of Fitter-I without insisting for and without reference to ITI Certificate in Fitter Trade and based on the relaxation given at the time of his appointment as Fitter-II and the 2nd respondent to promote him forthwith as Fitter-I, strictly based on his seniority in the post of FitterII as per seniority list issued as on 20.12.2016 with all consequential benefits, Award costs.

2. In view of the submission of the letter dated 16.08.2017 to the Registry by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also dismissed.
