The relief sought for in this petition is to quash the proceedings in Crime No.2201/2017 pending investigation on the file of Inspector of Police, M-3 Puzhal Police Station, Chennai.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.2201 of 2017 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed in C.C.No.115 of 2018 under Sections 323 and 506 (ii) of IPC before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur.
