Prayer in WP: Certificated Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the order of the first respondent in Pro.No.C.C1/0290/2020-1. Dated 15/06/2020 and to quash the same and to issue consequential directions to reinstate the petitioner in service with consequential benefits of continuity of service, back pay etc., and permit him to retire on 30/06/2020 A.N.Without any condition.

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the court was made by Dr.VINEET KOTHARI, J.) This Writ Appeal is directed against the oder dated 13.7.2020 whereby the Writ Petition was dismissed by the learned Single Judge.

2. The Writ Petition was directed against the order of Suspension of the Petitioner, E.Selvarajan, who was a Professor of the University in question and there was some allegations against the Petitioner regarding Medical Course Admission. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the Appellant/Petitioner Mr.T.Dharani submitted that the Criminal Case against the Appellant has ended in acquittal in favour of the Appellant and he has moved some representation before the Disciplinary Authority.

4. Since the Disciplinary Proceedings are pending before the Competent Authority and even otherwise, we are not inclined to interfere with the order of the learned Single Judge, we leave the Appellant free to approach the Disciplinary Authority concerned in the manner known to law and we expect the Authorities to deal with the same in accordance with law.
