This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the District Revenue Officer/Competent Authority, Tiruppur first respondent herein to receive entire remaining amount of Rs. 39,27,800/- (Rupees Thirty Nine Lakhs Twenty Seven Thousand and Eight Hundred Only) payable to the depositors in his account and conduct the enquiry and verify the deposition of 48 depositors deposed before the Special Court under TNPID Act- Coimbatore and examine the remaining depositors in person about receipt of amount and take further appropriate steps to get permission from the Special Court under TNPID Act-Coimbatore to consider the compounding petition filed by the petitioner before the first respondent on 22.04.2021 under section 5 A of the TNPID Act, within stipulated time as this Court may deem fit and proper. 2/4

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending this Writ Petition, final orders were passed in C.C.No.5 of 2015 by the Special Court under TNPID Act-Coimbatore and an appeal has also been filed against the same.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
