By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claiming to be the Secretary of the Organising Committee of the temple festival relating to Sri Mariamman Temple at Virudhampet Post, Kadpadi Taluk, Vellore District, submitted an application dated 13.7.2015, praying for permission to conduct cultural events, which includes song and dance programme, to be held on 1.8.2015, and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be in place during such programme, and prays for appropriate orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent, also.

5.This Court, without going into the merits of the application/representation, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated 13.7.2015, in accordance with law, on or before 30.7.2015, and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
