ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 09.04.2022 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 20(a)(i) and 8(a) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.64 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 200 grams of Ganja and also cultivated Ganja plant in his land. Thereafter, the respondent police seized the contraband and arrested the petitioner and hence, the complaint.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 09.04.2022. Hence, prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would vehemently oppose stating that the petitioner was in possession of 200 grams of Ganja and also cultivated Ganja plant in his land illegally. He added that there is no previous case pending against the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that the seized contraband involved in this case is Ganja plants of 200 Grams and that the petitioner is alleged to have cultivated the Ganja plants, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
