By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the agricultural punja lands comprised in Survey No.123/2, admeasuring to an extent of 0.71 acres situated at No.135, Minjur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District, through a registered sale deed bearing Document No.1831/2013, dated 24.12.2012, on the file of the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Ponneri. The petitioner would state that he submitted an application dated 4.7.2013, along with necessary documents praying for transfer of patta, and the jurisdictional Village Administrative Officer has also recorded the statement and thereafter, nothing has happened and hence, he came forward to file this writ petition.

Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.This Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit a reminder to the respondent by enclosing a copy of the order passed in this writ petition, along with a copy of his earlier representation dated 4.7.2013, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to consider it in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, and pass orders thereon, within a period of six weeks thereafter, and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
