Prayer: Petition under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent for willful disobedience and flouting the orders of this court in W.P.No.2840 of 2014, dated 11.07.2017.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent had compiled with the orders passed by the Tamil Nadu Information Commission by depositing a sum of Rs.25,000/- on 14.08.2018. The learned counsel also produced a receipt in support of his contention.

2. Since the 1st respondent had complied the orders of the Information Commission, I do not find any reason to keep the Contempt Petition pending.
