This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register a case on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 26.08.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint, it appears that the counter petitioner has purchased some rice from this petitioner and that some amount is due to him. In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the Police to register an F.I.R.,

4. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
