ORDER

The present Transfer Petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife seeking transfer of Divorce Petition in H.M.O.P.No.98 of 2025, pending on the file of the Family Court, Theni, to the file of the Family Court, Chennai.

2. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 10.07.2025, the parties appeared before the Mediation Centre, and the mediator has successfully brought about an amicable settlement between the spouses. A settlement agreement dated 11.08.2025 has been duly reached and signed by the respective parties as well as their learned counsel.

3. In view of the said settlement agreement, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of, and the settlement agreement shall form part of the record.

4. It is made clear that, in view of the disposal of this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition in terms of the settlement agreement, the Page No.2 of 4

order of stay granted at the time of admission of this petition stands vacated. The respondent is at liberty to withdraw H.M.O.P.No.98 of 2025, as undertaken in the settlement agreement. The parties shall thereafter proceed with filing a petition under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
