This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file Final Report before the Chief Judicial Magistrate and Special Judge, Erode in so far relates to Cr.No.2/AC/2015/ER.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. sms

3. It is seen that FIR has been registered by Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Erode Detachment, Erode, Erode District on 08.06.2015 and investigation is in progress.

4. Under such circumstances, time bound order for completing the investigation cannot be granted in case of this nature, where, the police will have to secure several records from Government Departments. That apart, the police should have to make an application for obtaining sanction from the Appointing Authority. Hence, the relief claims as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted.
