Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482, Cr.P.C. to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioners in pursuance to the complaint filed by Mr.Bashir, S/o. Ibrahim of Nagore, Nagapattinam.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent not to harass the petitioners in pursuance to the complaint filed by Mr.Bashir, S/o. Ibrahim of Nagore, Nagapattinam.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mrs.P. Kritika Kamal, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, submitted that there is no case pending against the second petitioner. However, on the complaint given by one Bashir, Son of Ibrahim of Nagore, petitioner enquiry is pending against the first petitioner in C.S.R. No.75 of 2018 before the first respondent police.

3. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioners. The petitioners shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.
