Mr. M. Karthikeyan, Learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the First and Second Respondents, pointed out that the appeal for disposal of which direction has been sought in the Writ Petition, is not one made by senior citizen or parent in terms of Section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Accordingly, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to challenge the order impugned in that appeal in a manner recognized by law and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. 2.
