Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) each, through demand draft in favour of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai to enable the Dean to use the aforeside amount for the purpose of treating Covid-19 patients, within a period of two weeks imposed by this Hon'ble Court in the order dated 27.04.2021 Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of S/O D.LAKSHMIPATHY, Advocate for the Petitioners and of MR.C.E.PRATAP Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:-

O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The present petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by this Court in the order dated 27.04.2021 made in Crl.OP.No.7910 of 2021 to deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) each, through demand draft in favour of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai to enable the Dean to use the aforesaid amount for the purpose of treating Covid-19 patients, within a period of two weeks.

2. This Court vide order dated 27.04.2021 in Crl.OP.No.7910 of 2021 in Crime No.98 of 2021, while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners, imposed one of the aforesaid conditions.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the condition imposed that the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- each has to be modified to the effect that the petitioners shall jointly deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- .

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that he has no objection for granting the said modification. 5.

In view of the above, the condition is modified to the effect that the the petitioners shall jointly deposit a sum of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) through demand draft in favour of the Dean, Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai. Apart from the aforesaid modification, the order passed by this court in Crl.OP.No.7910 of 2021 dated 27.04.2021 shall stand unaltered in all other aspects.
