This petition is filed seeking to extend the time to the petitioners/accused to surrender before the trial court.
2. Mr.D.S.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioners contended that the parties had compromised the issue subsequent to the orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court and prayed for granting time to surrender before the trial court.
3. A perusal of the records shows that this Court by an order dated 28.02.2024 in Crl.A.No.812/2016 directed the petitioners / accused to surrender before the trial court within 30 days from the date of the judgment. Special Leave Petition filed by the petitioners / accused before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SLP (Crl).No.3954 of 2024 was also dismissed on 22.03.2024.

4. In the circumstances, the present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed. The petitioners / accused shall surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases Registered under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 at Villupuram, failing which, the Trial Court shall take steps to secure their presence for serving the remaining period of sentence.
