O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the order Na. Ka. No. B4/3409/2018 dated 29.06.2018 passed by the Third Respondent and consequently direct the Third Respondent or his sub-ordinates or his officials to issue patta after sub-dividing the Survey Numbers in S. Nos. 126/38 and 159/2 in Sirumadurai Village, Thirukovilur Taluk, Villupuram District. 2.

The request of the Petitioner for change of name in the patta was rejected by the Second Respondent by order Na. Ka. No. Aa4/2409/2018 dated 29.06.2018 on the ground that the Petitioner has not produced any materials in proof of his claim and that he was not in possession of the said property. However, it has been clarified in the said order that as and when he produces necessary materials in support of such claim, he could make a fresh representation.

In that view of the matter, the Petitioner cannot be prejudiced by the impugned order in any manner and the clarification issued would suffice to protect the interest of the Petitioner to make a fresh representation for change of name in the patta for the property.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs. 25.06.2019 dna Index :Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 12.07.2019.
