O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and take necessary action on the second respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is a student of Law College and it is his grievance that when he went to the police station, he was not properly treated and therefore, he has sent a representation to the first respondent / Deputy Commissioner of Police, L.B.Road, Adyar, Chennai, asking him to take action against the second respondent herein.

4. When this Court is not inclined to admit this writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

5. Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
