Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring that Serial No. 9 of Rule 5 of the Tamil Nadu State Judicial service (Cadre and Recruitment) Rule 2007 and the Notification No. 8 of 2018 issued by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission prescribing the Upper age limit for fresh Law Graduates and Different Eligibility Criteria for Fresh Law Graduate and Advocates for the Post of Civil Judge as null and void and for a declaration that the petitioner is eligible to apply under the fresh law Graduate Category for the post of Civil Judge as per the impugned notification No.8 of 2018 and for a writ of Mandamus to the respondents to permit the petitioner to apply under the said category and to participate in the Selection process before this Hon'ble Court.
