O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 27.06.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.12079 of 2021 thereby directed the first respondent to inspect the petitioner's factory and if the petitioner fulfils the conditions as prescribed in GO.Ms.No.2/2012-Ind.A dated 07.05.2012 issued by the Department of Industrial Development (Industries and Commerce), Puducherry, the respondents are directed to consider the remaining 45% of the subsidy payable to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the second respondent has passed an order on 28.03.2025 stating that the first respondent conducted an inspection and found that the machineries purchased by the petitioner is not a brand new machineries but a second hand one and therefore the petitioner is not entitled for an additional subsidy thereby rejected the claim.

3. Recording the said submissions, the contempt petition is closed. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 28.03.2025 if so advised.
