ORDER
The contempt petition is filed reporting wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.9446 of 2024 on 18.04.2024, directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.533 of 2023 and file final report within a period of three months. Since the final report not filed within the time prescribed, this contempt petition is filed.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that pursuant to the direction of this Court, the final report was filed on 30.06.2025 and the same was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram and assigned C.C.No.459 of 2025 and the case is posted on 28.08.2025. The respondent has also filed an affidavit tendering unconditional apology for the delay in complying the order of this Court dated 18.04.2024.

Recording the affidavit indicating the compliance of the order of this Court but with delay, the respondent is purged of contempt. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. 22-08-2025 stn To
