This Court is satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application, which has been filed to combine the cause of action. 2.Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for. 3.It is represented that the registry has returned an application filed by the defendant seeking to condone the delay in filing the written statement on the ground that the application is unnecessary since the written statement has been filed within the statutory period.

4.The written statement filed by the defendant therefore is taken on record. Post the matter for filing affidavit of admission/denial of documents on 14.12.2023.
