Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records on the file of the first respondent relating to the order issued in A2/666/2010, dated 6.2.2010 and the consequential order passed by the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.Oo.A4/2010/09, dated 9.2.2010 and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to take action against the fourth respondent invoking Section 205 of Tamil Nadu Panchayat Act, 1994 and to remove him from the post of President, C.Sorpanandal Village Panchayat, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the respondents 3 and 4.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. In the light of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
