ORDER

The petitioners have been filed this petition seeking a direction, to direct the respondent, not to harass the petitioners based on the summons issued by the respondent on 15.05.2021, in connection with the CSR. No.293 of 2021 dated 14.05.2021.

2.The contention of the petitioners is that a similar complaint has been given by the de-facto complainant before the Nanthampakkam Police Station Police Station and later it was closed. Thereafter, the de-facto complainant lodged a private complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, before the Metropolitan Magistrate (Fast Track Court-III), Saidapet and the same is pending. Again the present complaint filed against the petitioners by the de-facto complainant with an intention to harass, hence, the petitioners have come up with this present petition before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint given by the de-facto complainant in CSR.No.293 of 2021, dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

14.05.2021, the petitioners were called for enquiry and the same was closed on 19.05.2021. There is nothing survives for further adjudication.

4.In view of the same, recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
