Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant in History in the vacancy available in Municipal Middle School,Lakshmipuram, Tiruvallur District, based on seniority and eligibility of the petitioner in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher as per Special Rules for Tamil Nadu School Educational Subordinate Services (Municipal & Township Schools) within the time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.
