..Respondent(s) PRAYER - This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 23.01.2024 in order to take action the respondents to issue a patta in ours names in respect of property situate at Tiruppur district, Tiruppur North Taluk, Tiruppur town, Thottipalayam, WardK, Block-48, TS No. 17/2 ad measuring 2600 square feet, respectively. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this Writ Petition in support of their representation seeking for grant of patta in the name of the petitioner.

2.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation seeking for grant of patta for the subject property on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

4.For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the said representation dated 23.01.2024, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
