ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners who are arrayed as A1, A3 & A4 out of four accused and who were arrested on 04.04.2022 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 20(2) of Cigarette and other tobacco product act 2003 read with Section 328 of IPC in Crime No.65 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners were found in possession of 180 Kgs Pan Masala without any valid license or permit. Hence, the respondent police arrested the petitioners and registered a case against them.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and they have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence he prays for grant of bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that petitioners along with other accused were found in possession of prohibited drug items about 180 Kgs for the purpose of sale. The Government has invoked Goondas Act against the petitioners.

5. Considering the gravity of the accusation against the petitioners and that the the petitioners have been detained under Act 14 of 1982, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to them.
