ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 16.05.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Section 4(1)(i), 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A)(ii) Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act R/w 328 of IPC, in Crime No.122 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 120 litres of I.D. Arrack. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 16.05.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 120 liters of I.D. Arrack. He further submits that there are 16 previous cases pending against the petitioner and he is a history sheeter. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.
