ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) order 1982 r/w 7 (i)(a)(ii) of E.C. Act 1955 in Crime No.67 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was illegally transporting 1150 kgs of PDS rice. Hence the complainant.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he have been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner was illegally transporting 1150 kgs of PDS rice. He further submits that there was 20 previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that there was 20 previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
