O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in First Information Report bearing Crime No.328 of 2024 registered by the respondent Police on the 12th October 2024 for the offences under Sections

275, 123 and 62 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 6(a) and 24(1) of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent police had completed the investigation in Crime No.328 of 2024 and a final report has also been filed on 13.02.2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Polur, Tiruvannamalai.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the prayer sought in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
